Schools Page – March 26, 2018

State Performance Testing  (PEAKS – Performance Evaluation for Alaska Schools)  will begin tomorrow – Tuesday, March 27 for all 7th and 8th grade students.  Please have students to school on time.

Track and Field begins on Monday, April 2.   This is a no-cut sport.  Any student who wishes to join Track must turn in the required sports forms before participation.  Forms must be filled out for each sport.  All forms can be picked up at the Front Office.

Buy A Yearbook – $30!  Visit the Skyview Middle School Blog to purchase.  Each yearbook comes with 2 free personalized pages – design yourself and due by April 3.

Class fees for 4th quarter are now posted to student accounts.  Fees can be paid online from the District’s website, or they can be paid via cash or check at the school during normal office hours.  If you have questions regarding student fees, please contact the office at 260-2500.

Note of Thanks:  Panther Student Council would like to thank all Staff & Parent Volunteers who made the March Activity Night possible.  We couldn’t do it without you and we appreciate your gift of time.  Special thanks to the Alaska State Troopers who consistently make the time to provide an activity and always donate several gift cards as prizes.  We are grateful for their continued support of our events.  Thanks to all the students who attended and a special congratulations to our contest winners!  Trooper Contest:  Miah Mead, Trinity Donovan, Isaac Chavarria, Brook Fischer, Gus Miller, Jacob Fleming. Candy Guessing Jars:  Jeramiah Payton, Abby Horner, Jordan Strausbaugh, Simon Secor, Haylee Hodge.  Limbo Contest:  Quinn Cox and Violet Truesdell.  Mrs. Pothast would like to thank all of the Student Council members who worked shifts at the event, helped with set up and clean up, and stepped in ready to help when others were sick or unavailable.  You all are AWESOME!
