Today is the beginning of the Fourth Quarter!

Tomorrow – Tuesday, March 21 is 6th grade Parent/Student Orientation Night!  All incoming 6th grade students and parents are welcome to visit Skyview Middle School at 6:30 pm to meet teachers and staff.

Track and Field begins on Monday, April 3.   This is a no-cut sport.  Any student who wishes to join Track must turn in the required sports forms before participation.  Forms must be filled out for each sport.  All forms can be picked up at the Front Office or found online at > Skyview Sports > Required Sports Paperwork> Forms 1 – 2.

The Panther Student Council would like to thank all staff members and parent chaperones who volunteered their time at the March Activity Night!  We couldn’t do it without you!  Thank you!  Special thanks to Jumpin’ Junction and the Kapp Family for the use of the Velcro Wall during the event – what fun!  And our continued thanks to the Alaska State Trooper volunteers who set up and provided prizes for the Egg Toss Contest AND busted a move at the Freeze Dance.  You all ROCK and we so appreciate your work with our students at Activity Night! BIG thanks to Darla Vanderwall, Coca Cola representative, for the donation of five cases of products for our Soda Stroll! Congratulations to all of our contest winners!  Candy Guessing Jar winners include:  Taylor Bynum, Lila McKay, Olivia Davis, Taylor Morse, and Laynee Strausbaugh!  Egg Toss Winners were Josh Risky, Saiyan Baker, Adarra Hagelund, David Brown, Bridger Brewer, and Aaron Fleming.  Great job!  Freeze Dance winners were Thea Scanlon and Zander Emery.  Special thanks to our judges!  Mrs. Pothast would like to thank all of the AWESOME Student Council members who worked hard to put on a great Activity Night!  Student Council members – you are AMAZING!

Please note: There will be no morning tutoring for the remainder of the school year.
