Through a cooperative effort between school, home, and community, our students will demonstrate increasing proficiency in core subjects as determined by state and national standards. We will encourage the exploration of fine arts, applied arts, and extra-curricular activities. We commit to a comprehensive system of support to assure this outcome.

Message from the Principal:

Welcome to Skyview Middle School–Home of the Panthers!  Skyview Middle School is a five star Alaska middle school with one of the finest facilities in the country.  Our number one priority is to keep all staff and students safe while providing them with a world-class education.  We are committed to making students and their families feel comfortable and involved at Skyview Middle School.  Our staff considers it a privilege to be involved in the lives of our students at such a crucial time of their development. As a school, we are always looking for areas where we can improve.  Please do not hesitate to provide us feedback on areas where you feel we can improve or things you feel we are doing well.

We look forward to you being a member of our Skyview family.

Thank you,
Sarge Truesdell, Principal
