Student Council is sponsoring a Holiday Food Drive to benefit the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank.  Bring non-perishable food items to your first hour class THIS WEEK December 7th through the 11th.  The 7th grade and 8th grade class with the most items will receive a special prize.  The Ramen Rule is in effect.  FOUR packets of Ramen Noodles = ONE item.  Let’s help our neighbors in need this holiday season with an awesome contribution to the Food Bank!

Our Holiday Activity Night will be after school on Friday, December 11th from 2:45 to 4:45.  Student Council will have lots of fun activities to enjoy including a Selfie Station, Ping Pong & Foosball, a Holiday Movie Room, Limbo contest, Candy Jar guessing, Ring Toss, and more!  Admission is $5 per person OR you can bring in FIVE non-perishable food items for the Food Bank and get in free!  Ramen Rule in effect – four ramen = one item.  Parent volunteers needed.  Please call the office at 260-2500 if you can help.

Congratulations to the 7th grade for winning the Penny Drive competition and many thanks to all who donated!  Altogether, Skyview Middle School students raised over $840.00 for the KPBSD Students in Transition Program.  Additional Staff donations helped reach the school goal of $1,000.00.  Sincere thanks to EVERYONE for your generosity and commitment to support our neighbors in need!  And special thanks to all the Student Council volunteers who spent hours sorting and wrapping all of the coins.  Well done, Panthers!

A BIG thank you for all the wonderful donations to the Skyview Middle School Angel Tree.  The overwhelming kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated!
