Basketball Competitive play begins today!  Sports Schedule this week:

  • Saturday, October 31 – Boys A Team and Boys B Team Scrimmages at Nikiski – 9 am to 1 pm
  • Saturday, October 31 – Girls A Team and Girls B Team Scrimmages at Nikiski – 1 pm to 5 pm

Wednesday, October 28 – Early Release Day – Students at Skyview Middle School will end the school day at 1:00 pm.  Bus schedules have been adjusted to accommodate this time change.

Parent/Teacher Conferences at Skyview Middle School will be ONE DAY only:  Thursday, October 29.  Conference times are scheduled online.  To find the link to schedule online and additional Parent/Teacher Conference information, please go to:  KPBSD district web page > Schools > Skyview Middle School Blog > Student/Parent Information > Parent/Teacher Conferences.  There will be no school for students on Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30.

Skyview Scholastic Book Fair October 26 – 29!  Skyview Middle School will host a Scholastic Book Fair starting today.  Families, faculty, and the community are invited to attend this fun event that helps inspire children to become lifelong readers. The fair will be open during students’ school hours Monday – Wednesday and Noon – 8 pm Thursday during parent teacher conferences.  The Book Fair offers specially priced books and educational products, including popular series, award-winning titles, new releases, adult bestsellers, and other great reads from more than 100 publishers.  This year’s Book Fair will feature the 4th  annual Cake Decorating Contest with entries given away as door prizes during Parent Teacher Conferences.  Participants with winning entries will receive Scholastic Book Fair gift certificates.  Entries will be accepted in the library today and tomorrow from 7:30 – 2:30.  Contest is open to the public.  For a printable contest entry form, please visit online:  Skyview Middle School Blog > Skyview Library> Printable Contest Form.  For additional information, contact Anne McCabe in the library.
